GALLSTONES
The following text is part of the information you will receive with your Gallstones Therapy Pack. The full text will include specifically suggested foods and use of herbs.
Gallstones often have a tendency to "run in the family." Inherited poor diets are often the culprits, although, in younger women, gallstones are often caused by the birth control pill, and in older women by estrogen replacement pills that are used for menopausal symptoms. Since the synthetic estrogens in both are too difficult for the gallbladder to break down, they cause clumping, gravel, and finally, stones. The pain can spread across the entire abdominal area, and any pressure on the outside of the right thigh can be particularly painful. Bloating and belching, especially after fatty foods, are other possible indicators.
Dietary considerations are gone into thoroughly in your Therapy Pack information, but meantime, fried foods and cow’s dairy products are ideally avoided. Small amounts of goat or sheep cheeses or yogurt are usually OK.
The herbal preparations included in the Therapy Pack have been specifically formulated for gallstones based on centuries of observation and experience. They can assist in clearing and nourishing the body and help to re-establish proper balance and function to the gallbladder. In this way, they give the body the tools to heal without the threat of major side effects.
